- A Brainstorming Adventure Starting from a Foam Board-

I. Student Days: I Pulled off a Big Thing with a Foam Board

In 2008, as a student majoring in industrial design who spent all day in the studio, I did something that shocked the whole class - I made a mortise - and - tenon structure with a foam board and made it hold up an 8 - kilogram dumbbell!

At that time, the teacher assigned a "material limit test" assignment. The whole class was carving flowers with wood, while I stared blankly at the white foam board in the warehouse, wondering: Could this flimsy thing really only be used for packaging?

I just refused to give in! It took me a whole week to layer the foam board like cutting a cake, carve out tenons and mortises with a utility knife, and even break off bamboo strips from chopsticks to use as "reinforcing nails". When I put the completed "foam mortise - and - tenon bracket" on the experimental table, all my classmates laughed and said, "If this can bear the weight, I'll eat the dumbbell!"

As a result, when the dumbbell was placed on it, the bracket didn't collapse. When a bottle of mineral water was added, it still didn't collapse. Finally, when 8 - kilogram heavy objects were piled on, it remained as stable as Mount Tai! The teacher immediately took out his phone to shoot a video and post it on Facebook with the caption, "Students these days can even work wonders with foam boards!"

II. After Starting Work: Discovering "Pits" Everywhere in the Industry

I thought that after graduating and entering a big company, I could fully demonstrate my abilities. However, every day I saw designers sighing about materials:

 - The foam board for making models would break into pieces as soon as it was cut. The designer had to squat on the ground and pick up the debris for half an hour.

 - The carving knives bought by handicraft enthusiasts were too sharp. Novices would get their hands scratched as soon as they used them, and the negative review section was full of "lessons learned the hard way".

 - Even children doing handicrafts were tormented to tears by clumsy scissors. Mothers complained in the comment section, "I'll never accompany my child to do handicrafts again!"

I suddenly realized that what people lacked was not materials, but "the magical help that could bring their creativity to life"!

III. Starting a Business: Doing Crazy Things with a Group of "Madmen"

In 2013, I gathered three friends who also couldn't bear to see creativity go to waste and started a "garage - style business" in a rented room. The craziest things we've done include:

 - In order to design a carving knife that "even novices can use to create marvels", we were still polishing the knife handle at 2 am for 30 consecutive days. Everyone got blisters on their hands just to find the "most comfortable - to - hold" curvature.

 - We set up a street stall with our self - made foam board cutting tools. We were chased by urban management officers. But when we saw an old man using our tools to carve a cartoon cat for his granddaughter, and the granddaughter held the foam cat and smiled with dimples, we suddenly felt that everything was worth it.

 - We even customized a "luminescent mortise - and - tenon structure made of board" for a young lady doing installation art. When the work lit up at the art exhibition, we screamed like fans in the audience - that was the first time our tools entered the grand stage of art!

IV. Now: Turning "Impossible" into "Achievable"

In 2025, with the lessons learned from 12 years of setbacks and the accumulated ideas, we opened this online store. We just want everyone to be able to create freely:

 - Newbies, don't be afraid! Our tools are so easy to use that even primary school students can handle them. For example, the cutting ruler with cartoon - shaped scales allows you to cut out symmetrical patterns just by following the lines, so you don't have to cut again due to mis - drawn lines.

 - Experts, feel free! We have "hidden items" that can achieve professional - level effects, such as a micro - carving knife that can carve a 0.1 - millimeter - wide slit. Even model masters secretly place orders.

 - The most amazing thing is our "creative first - aid kit": Whether you're stuck on what material to use or don't know how to finish, just shout in the group, and experts will pop up in no time to offer advice. Even our programmer guy will stay up until midnight to help users solve technical problems!

Our creed: Creativity should not be hindered by tools.

From that "weird student" who played with foam boards on the desk back then to the "tool fanatic" who has helped over 100,000 people realize their creativity now, we always believe:

 - There are no materials that can't be handled, only tools that are not easy to use.

 - Whether you want to make a handmade toy for your child or create a shocking art installation, as long as you dare to think, we dare to help you turn your "brainstorms" into "real objects".

 - The coolest thing is to see the user - generated content sent by our customers: Some people used our tools to make a marriage - proposal prop for their girlfriends, some people built their dream small houses with foam boards, and some people said, "Since I started doing handicrafts, I'm no longer addicted to my phone" - this is the "product" we really want to sell.

If you're also someone with countless creative ideas in your heart, welcome to join us:

You be responsible for free - thinking, and we'll be responsible for turning "impossible" into "do it right now"!

(Secretly, our team still keeps that foam mortise - and - tenon structure that could bear 8 kilograms. It's hung in the most prominent place in the office, always reminding us: Don't be limited by materials. Your creativity is always cooler than the materials!)
